The Lost Wood Fairies are an interactive, performative life drawing workshop for all ages. The work is ideal for festivals, corporate events and parties. The work incompasses a life drawing workshop, with fun drawing activities to involve drawing abilities of all levels. The workshop is lead by visual artists and sculptor Lindsay Hughes.
The fairies, are interactive and include tall (Stilt Walkers), still (Statue) and cheeky (Street Theatre) styles. The Lampies are beautiful interactive Lampshades, they debuted at Larmer Tree Festival 2016, and can be seen lighting up spaces and places with their magical presence. A truly magical immersive experience..
Together a site-specific installation, of public art set in the windows of the Town Hall in Corsham. It tells the story of the unlikely friendship between a Squirrel and a Fox during a snowy winter in Corsham. The work is made from handcut vinyl illustrationa nd handcut stop-motion animation. The piece was inspired by the local community and the events which have unfolded throughout 2020. This project invited in our newest member to the collective the fantatsic Caroline Rudge. Facilitation and Community Outreach. We are able to provide facilitation and deliver community out reach projects. See the example in our Gallery working alongside Larmer Tree Festival and local community groups to develop sculptures for the festival.
